On Tuesday, July 8, 2014, the Clan Rose Society of America, Incorporated received its long-awaited determination letter from the US Internal Revenue Service, granting the Society's application for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under US federal tax law. This means that not only will the Society be exempt from the payment of federal income taxes, your dues and any contributions you might make to the Society above and beyond your annual dues are deductible by you on your own federal tax returns as a contribution to a public charity. You will need to consult your tax professional for the extent to which you can take this deduction, as this sometimes varies by individual. Our ID number is 46-3351031.
The 2014 Annual General Meeting of the Clan Rose Society of America will be September 6 and 7th at the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highlands Festival in Estes Park Colorado. Estes Park Colorado is located Northwest of Denver and is next to Rocky Mountain National Park. This is a beautiful time of year in the Rocky Mountains and we look forward to see everyone at the AGM. read more...
